GRAND FANFARE by Steven Amundson 2019

The Grand Fanfare was composed this past May for King Harald V of Norway for his entrance to a special concert at the Oslo Opera House. This  wonderful new rental work is just under 2 1/2 minutes and features  jubilant brass fanfares and sweeping strings, building to a magnificent  climax. The work is well-suited for festive or celebratory occasions or as a concert opener. The instrumentation is 3-2-2-2 / 4-3-3-1, timp + 2 perc, strings.
